G. S. College of commerce Wardha, has started GS-Skill Upgradation Network (GS-SUN) course from the session 2022-23. The course is designed and started by the college with a vision, to improve employable skills among the students.  The course specializes in basics of Accounting and Taxation and the necessary IT skills such as MS-Office and Tally.

The course follows the concept of Learn by Doing, where the students are trained on the practical application of the IT skills in the field of accounting and taxation.

This course specially focusses on the students, who are in their first year of graduation, with the objective that, the student has to undergo the internship of minimum one academic year mandatorily, after the completion of course.  During the internship, the students will be applying the technical skills acquired by them during the course. Regular feedback from the CA firms is collected during the internship period to track the progress of students.

• To provide the practical training of Information Technology (MS-Office and Tally) and Accounting & Taxation to the students.
• To provide pre-internship training to the students.
• To offer hands-on training to students following pre-internship preparation through professional teaching by qualified CAs.
• To allow students to gain first-hand experience of the challenges in the competitive job market through internships with renowned CA firms. 
• To give Self-Employment Opportunity.

• Course is offered to First Year Graduate Students only.
• Part A of the course will start during the First Semester, 6 days a week, in which Tally Lectures are scheduled for 03 days a week and MS-Office Lectures are scheduled for remaining 03 days of week.
• Part B of the course will start during Second Semester, for which two practicing Chartered Accountants (CAs) will train the students on the portion related with the taxation.
• Post completion of part A and part B, course completion final exam is scheduled to evaluate the skills acquired by the students.
• Students who have completed final exam successfully are required to undergo the Internship at reputed CA Firms in the city.
• Students who complete minimum Internship of 12 months are then issued Certificate of course completion of GS-SUN Course.
