About Student Council:
Student Council was established for playing an integral and significant role in the student community. Student council provides a representation through which students can debate issues of importance and undertake initiatives of benefit to the college. Students get a chance and they contribute to make to their college more competitive. It is important that they can be given the opportunity to express their views on issues of concern to them in the college.
Objectives:
- To be the voice of the students to the administration and vice versa as well.
- The purpose of the student council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out college activities.
- Create an environment where every student can express their views concerned to them.
- To provide a platform where the students can showcase their talent without hesitation.
- The student council is responsible for the fluid and graceful functioning of Student and College organized events.
Role of the Student Council :
- To officially represent all the students in the college.
- To identify and help solve problems encountered by students in the college.
- To communicate its opinion to the college administration on any subject.
- To promote and encourage the involvement of students in organizing college activities.
Activities:
Annual gathering programme ‘Abhivyakt’, Academic activities, Sports, Traditional Day, Food fest, Cultural activities, Extracurricular activities.
